6th Australian Prophetic School - Logan City Report

May 28-30, 2009

Image The team (Rob, Lorellee, Marty and Chris) arrived on Wednesday night for the week ahead of us. It was great to see a team of five come from Nelson Bay and a team of ten come from Sydney all serving the school in music, prophetic presbytry, rego, book table etc. The local team was also a great assistance, headed up by Cissie.

Logan city is half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast on the M1 motorway. Our host church, Calvary Family Church, pastored by Bruce and Joan Sweet, is located in the KP centre (they have step by step taken ownership of half the centre.

The first session was Thursday morning, with about 50 in attendance. Rob spoke on "Grounding the Prophetic". In the second session we opened with worship and moved straight into a time of ministry for hurts, healing, rejection and other issues. We broke into three workshops in the afternoon: prophesying over the unsaved (the team spoke onto tape for the unsaved brother of one person there), positioning yourself in the season and dysfunctional prophetic behaviour. Numbers swelled in the evening to about 75 who gathered for worship, exhortation, prophetic flow and a teaching by Martyn on Daniel, Joseph and the marketplace.

Friday kicked off with Lorellee teaching 60 delegates on the issue of the influence of psychics in our society. It was then our previledge to hear from Chris Gaborit from Byron Bay who addressed the issue of being a Spirit Powered Entrepreneur. At the end of his session he gave three very strong and accurate words. Those of you who know Chris understand that he has had a tumultous journey. Fifteen years ago he ran perhaps the best attended prophetic schools in Australia with several thousand students a year. After self sabotaging several times, Chris ended up in business. It was from this frame of reference he talked to us. We broke again in the afternoon for two workshops: prophecy to the unsaved (to which several members of the community came) and understanding your life dream and passion. Friday night was wonderful! The school merged with the Calvary Family Church youth meeting, with a hundred and fifty gathered. During worship, ministry broke out as we sang "Fire Fall Down", kids were filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in toungues and there were several salvations. Rob talked about the operation of the prophetic in the marketplace.

Saturday morning Lorellee taught on Treasure hunting - using the prophetic to find the lost - and Marty finished the conference with Navigating the rivers of Babylon. Over lunch we concluded with an open forum with questions and answers. About 100 gathered to interact in worship, receive teaching and impartation. This school had an amazing intersection of old friends drop in: Dave Fenton, Phil and Jani Marshall, Chris Gaborit, David Stanfield and Gordon Barr.

From Round Table to Network

You may have noticed the change from our old web site to this new one www.propheticnetwork.org.au and what an exciting change this is. It was decided two meetings ago that the word "roundtable" really only expressed a part of what we did together and what our DNA is all about. The word "network" much more closely describes the nature of how we work together, and encompasses the meetings, the schools, conferences and other aspects. So here is the new home for:

The Prophetic Network of Australia (PNA for short)

You will notice some new conference files have been made available in the library section, and stay tuned for an image overhaul, coming in July 09. God bless

Rob Holmes
